Kansas Man, Alexander Lewis Accused of Strangling Pregnant Girlfriend Web Searched ‘Choke Hold’and ‘weapons that can kill Before Her Death

Police said Alexander Lewis searched suspicious terminology like ‘choke hold’ and ‘snapping necks’ just hours before the murder of 19-year-old Zaiylah Bronson

Alexander Lewis, a Wichita resident and Zaiylah Bronson’s boyfriend  allegedly strangled and killed his

pregnant girlfriend had scoured the internet for information on choke holds the morning of her death

Police arrested Alexander Lewis, 22, on August 26 on a first-degree murder charge, the Wichita Police

Department said on X, formerly Twitter. That day, Lewis allegedly killed his 19-year-old girlfriend,

Zaiylah Bronson, who was about 16 weeks pregnant and attended school at Wichita State University.

The 22-year-old conducted online searches over a two-day period for information on abortion, stun

guns, lethal weapons, and murder, according to a probable cause document made public by a Sedgwick County judge.

The times of the inquiries correspond to Zaiylah Quayunna Bronson’s death on August 26. She was 19

years old, had been dating Lewis since January, and was expecting a boy.

But it seems Lewis didnt want the baby and he searched on web on how to either dispose the baby or

dispose her and finally disposed her by ending her life

Police Department classified the incident as an act of domestic violence. An investigation remains ongoing.
